Gold Silks - Plain and Brocade

I recently purchased two metres of each of these silks - they are truly luscious! The figured silk especially is to die for. What is not visible in the picture above, but is almost visible in the one below, is that there is a metallic silver woven in, giving it a really opulent sheen. Below is the detail of the border design which runs along one selvedge, which I was unaware of at the time of purchase (eBay is great!) but which I am very glad is there.
